1 Spice Genie Jalfrezi Kit

2 tbsp Ghee

1 tbsp Butter

2 tbsp Coriander leaves chopped

1/2 Green Pepper, cut into chunky strips

Onion 55g cut into large strips

100 g Paneer/Tofu/Chicken/Lamb/Potatoes cut in 1.5 inch strips

50g Tomatoes chopped and 50g cut into large strips

         *Optional

1-2 nos. *Green Chillies slit lengthways

25g *Green peas

6-8 nos. *Green beans cut into large pieces

75g *Carrot cut into large pieces

30g * Cauliflower cut into large pieces

This product is manufactured in a facility that processes other products which may contain soy, dairy, wheat, tree nuts, peanuts, and eggs and may contain traces of all of the above.

Soak pack 1 in 60 ml hot water for 5 minutes. In a kadai/wok, heat 1 tbsp ghee, fry the paneer/tofu/chicken until cooked, drain and set aside. Heat 1 tbsp ghee in the same kadai/wok and add pack 2; let crackle.

Add pack 1 and cook for 2-3 minutes. Add chopped tomatoes and cook further until soft. Add some water and continue cooking. Add all vegetables and mix well, cover with a lid and cook it until half done. Add butter, and pack 3 with a splash of water and cook them properly. Add cooked paneer/tofu/chicken and cook further for 2-3 minutes.

Finish it with coriander leaves. serve with roti or rice.

Cook on high heat, stirring frequently to avoid burning.

Keeping the vegetables al dente gives an amazing texture and crunch to the dish.

Feel free to experiment with the vegetables and proteins you add, i.e., green peas, green beans, carrots, cauliflower and even shrimp can make great additions.

Dietary Substitutions: To accommodate individual dietary needs, replace butter and ghee with oils such as olive, canola, or vegetable oil, margarine, or coconut oil.
