1 Spice Genie Makhani Curry Kit

200 g Paneer/ Tofu /Chicken / Mushrooms

2 tbsp Coriander leaves chopped

1.5 tbsp Butter

2 tbsp + 1 tsp Ghee

300 gms Tomatoes chopped

1 tbsp Honey

110 ml Fresh Cream

This product is manufactured in a facility that processes other products which may contain soy, dairy, wheat, tree nuts, peanuts, and eggs and may contain traces of all of the above.

Soak pack 1 and pack 2 in 60 ml of hot water each. Heat half the ghee in a pan, sauté pack 3 for 2-3 minutes, then add pack 1 and *green chillies until translucent. Mix in 200g chopped tomatoes, cook for 5 minutes, then add 1 cup water and cook for another 10 minutes. Cool with half a cup of cold water, remove whole spices, and blend until smooth. Strain for a velvety texture.

In a pan, heat ghee and butter, add pack 2 contents, and fry until translucent. Cook the remaining tomatoes for 5 minutes, then add pack 4 and sauté for 2-3 minutes. Stir in some water and the blended sauce, then mix well. Add 100 ml fresh cream, honey, and your choice of protein (shredded tandoori chicken, paneer, tofu, or mushrooms). Cook for a further 5 minutes.

Transfer to a serving bowl, garnish with cream and coriander, and serve hot with roti or rice.

For a Smoky Flavor: In a small metal bowl, place burning charcoal in the center of your gravy. Drizzle ghee over the charcoal and quickly cover with a lid for one minute. Afterward, carefully remove the charcoal bowl.

Marinating Protein: To achieve tender and flavor-infused protein, marinate it in yogurt and spices overnight. Cooking it over an open flame will enhance the smoky taste.

Dietary Substitutions: To accommodate individual dietary needs, replace butter and ghee with oils such as olive, canola, or vegetable oil, margarine, or coconut oil.

Creamy Curry Alternatives: For a rich curry without using cream, consider substitutes like coconut milk, nut milks, tofu, or almond and cashew cream.

Sweetener Swap: Replace honey with sugar or stevia to meet specific dietary preferences.
